10:00AM — Arrive @ Bastrop State Park
Meet @ parking next to Dining Hall/Park Pool (slight left from main entrance road)
TPWD Naturalist Lesson - Local wildlife
Leave No Trace for Kids

NOON — Lunch (Please back school lunch!)

Together in God’s Incredible Creation
Join us in Meridian State Park this Fall as we grow together as families & build confidence recreating together in the outdoors.
WHO? — Families with Young Children
Each campsite, screen shelters will accommodate up to 8 people. Some sites have room to set up a small tent.
WHEN? — October 13-15, 2023
(Right at the beginning of Fall colors!)
Friday evening through Sunday morning
COST? — Registration fee = $300 for each family up to 4 + $50/additional family member
($100 non-refundable deposit required to reserve spots. Financial assistance or payment plan may be available upon request)
Price includes 2 nights of camping in screened shelters, 5 meals, snacks, activities, family devo booklet, & a swag bag!

WHAT? — Purposeful quality time with your family in God’s incredible creation
Activities designed for young families: day hikes, camp games, family devotionals
SUMMIT provides meals, so you get some quality time together & enjoy the weekend!
Learning objectives:
Invest in your family & children through both open-ended & planned quality times;
Engage with God in His creation through intentional quiet times, devotionals, worship, & other spiritual discipline practices;
Acquire basic outdoor skills including creation appreciation, campfire cooking (weather permitting), Leave No Trace stewardship, & fun recreational activities
Build authentic community with other families;

Flourish with Courage: Mother/Daughter WILD Retreat
WILD Retreat for mothers & daughters (age 5-17) where participants will grow in biblical knowledge, outdoor skills, & leadership skills.
